Josiah Medical Update:
7 years ago this week we celebrated Josiah’s end of chemo.
This week we’re in the middle of another round of intensive therapy. This time he’s only in therapy 5 hours each day for 3 days a week. I LOVE intensive therapy for many reasons. But it’s an exhausting 4 weeks – for both Josiah and myself.
This week after therapies he’s had appointments to get his new braces. The shoes we bought him did not work, so after one of the appointments, we had to return the shoes and find new ones. We survived our 9:00-4:00 day in Columbia and celebrated with some ice cream before returning home. Also, I didn’t cry in the shoe store, which is a reason to celebrate all on it’s own!
Kids and Family Update:
We have all been enjoying the summer. Between the six of us, we seem to have filled it up! Kansas for wilderness camp, Branson with my parents, Texas with Pioneer Bible Translators, camps, and intensive therapy. The kids have enjoyed church camp, Ruth Ann attended drama camp, and they’re all looking forward to their July activities. For work, Nathan has met with some churches and was a camp missionary for a week. I’m just trying my best to keep up with the schedules and making sure everyone has clean laundry when they need it!
Some of you may know this already – We have started a coffee roasting business with some friends. The roasting facility is located in our basement, so if you need to smell some good coffee, come on over! Check us out at tehillah.coffee!
