Josiah will have his yearly MRI on Thursday. It should be a pretty quick in and out appointment. First, he’ll get an IV and blood drawn for labs and check in with the doctor. Then he’ll head down for the MRI. Since he doesn’t need to be sedated anymore, we’ll be able to leave from […]
Nov 2017 – Jan 2018 Medical Update
MRI Josiah was scheduled to have an MRI in November. The morning of the MRI, Josiah woke up sick, so the appointment was cancelled. It has been rescheduled for next week, January 17th in the afternoon. Serial Casting Josiah did have some serial casting at the end of November. It went amazingly well! Josiah did […]
New Shoes and Upcoming Appointments
Josiah has a new brace for his right let/foot, a new insert for his left foot, new shoes, and a new arm splint and hand splint. The arm and hand splints are very similar to what he’s had in the past, just bigger because he’s grown! Our appointment with the orthotist yesterday went really well. […]
December 2015 Update

He consistently uses his right hand to […]

We will see her again in January, unless Josiah’s therapists and I decide he would benefit from more botox injections. The botox lasts 3-4 months; it’ll be 3 months June 13th. We’ve […]
Botox Progress #1
The splint Josiah has on his hand is one he has had for over a year. He has refused to wear it, and therapists had suggested to put it on him while sleeping. My response – I’m not messing with his sleep-because there’s not much of it! 🙂 Every time I would put it on […]
